Paula Malone, 3rd Dan, certified British Taekwondo instructor, has been practicing taekwondo for 20 years, studying under excellent masters in Canada, England, Korea and Japan. She also has been a student of 7h Dan Master Suh Ki Young. Paula has been teaching at Bath Taekwondo since 2010, focusing on Poomsae (forms) and stamina training drills.

Luca De Matteis, 3rd Dan, certified British Taekwondo instructor, got his Black Belt in 1990 from Grand Master Park Sun Jae. He competed at national level in Italy between 1989 and 1992 and has been teaching Taekwondo since 1993. Most recently he was a student of Korean Master, 7th Dan,  Suh Ki Young.


Laurence Dale, 1st Dan certified British Taekwondo instructor, began training 14 years ago first in the ITF style of Taekwondo. During university study in Sports Science, Laurence trained under Master Suh Ki Young - competing locally and internationally. Laurence enjoys teaching with a focus towards competition whilst promoting the discipline and traditional values of the martial arts.


Bath SKY Taekwondo is an official member of British Taekwondo, the Governing Body for World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. British Taekwondo is a member of the WTF, British Olympic Association (BOA), the European Taekwondo (ETU) and recognised by UK Sport, the government agency for High Performance Sport as well as Sport England, as the National Governing Body for WTF Taekwondo in the United Kingdom.

Bath SKY Taekwondo is based at the prestigious Bath University Sports Training Village. The club is friendly, professional and open to adults and children over 12 year.

The club teaches Olympic style Taekwondo in a safe and enjoyable class environment, following a national curriculum. Taekwondo promotes personal unity; the ability to achieve personal growth and improvement throughout life, using the guiding principles within this martial art.
